Problem

While activities are useful for some, many employees and managers rely on achievements to measure performance. However, the legacy design failed to sufficiently prioritize achievements, hindering efficient achievement tracking and effective performance evaluations.

Solution

Achievement View, a centralized hub that showcases all achievements, providing an optional landing page. This page displays a concise achievement summary, and enables seamless management of all achievement-related tasks from a single location.

Problem

Many customers leverage multiple goal plans within Goal Management. However, CPM's legacy functionality only supported linking activities to goals from a single plan, imposing a significant limitation on these customers.

Solution

To address the limitation, we enhanced CPM’s flexibility by allowing employees to link activities to multiple goal plans during activity creation or editing.

Problem

CPM utilizes Activity and Meeting tracking to monitor and evaluate employee performance. CPM lacked a critical capability: providing context and evidence to activities for comprehensive performance tracking.

Solution

The Activity Attachment feature that enables employees to enhance activity tracking by attaching relevant files. Employees can add/edit/delete attachments from their own activities, view and download attachments added by managers, and delete attachments in shared activities.

Testing

Our team conducted design advisory sessions for CPM reimagined at every step to validate the direction and gather feedback on designs from customers. One such session, inviting 20 customers from 14 organizations, along with SuccessFactors representatives from both Product Management and UX, received great feedback and participation from customers.

"What we saw today looks very promising, on the right track, and very positive."

"This was the best one yet – we're excited!"
